1. Who We Are
MyDaraz is operated by Ummah IT Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited, Chakwal, Pakistan ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, password (stored encrypted).
- Business details: store name, warehouse/sender address, logo and label settings.
- Support messages you send through our contact form or email.
- Billing details needed to process payments (we do not store full card numbers).
b) Information from Daraz (after you connect your store)
With your permission, we receive data through the Daraz Open Platform, such as:
- Store information and seller ID.
- Order details: order numbers, items, SKUs, quantities, prices, COD amounts, shipping status, tracking numbers.
- Buyer delivery details: buyer name, delivery address and phone number, needed to print shipping labels.
- Return and failed-delivery status.
- Access tokens that allow us to connect to your store (stored encrypted).
We never receive or store your Daraz password.
c) Information collected automatically
- Log data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, date and time.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How We Use Information
- To provide the service: fetch orders, print labels, manage handovers and track returns.
- To create and secure your account, including OTP verification.
- To process payments and manage your plan.
- To answer your support requests.
- To send important service messages (security alerts, billing, changes to our terms).
- To send product updates or tips, only if you choose to receive them. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- To improve MyDaraz, fix bugs and prevent fraud or misuse.
4. Buyer Data
Buyer information received from Daraz is used only to provide MyDaraz features to the seller who connected the store. We do not sell buyer data, use it for our own marketing, or share it with other sellers. As the seller, you are responsible for using buyer information only to fulfil orders.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run MyDaraz (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics), under confidentiality obligations.
- With Daraz, as needed to carry out actions you request through the Daraz Open Platform.
- When required by law, court order or government authority in Pakistan.
- In connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business, with notice to you.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable security measures, including HTTPS encryption, encrypted storage of passwords and access tokens, and restricted staff access. No online system is 100% secure, so please keep your login details safe.
7. Data Retention
- We keep your account and store data while your account is active.
- Order and label data may be kept for up to 12 months to support returns and reporting, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
- When you delete your account or disconnect your store, we stop fetching new data and delete your stored Daraz data within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law (for example, billing records).
8. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
- Access and update your account information from your dashboard.
- Disconnect your Daraz store at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails.

9. Children
MyDaraz is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of important changes by email or in your dashboard. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last changed.
